Urea-formaldehyde resins

Wood Boards
Urea-formaldehyde resins are the main binder in the large-scale manufacture of panel materials (particle board, MDF). No change in wood color (“light seam”) is one of the advantages of urea-formaldehyde resins which stipulates their use in manufacture of  plywood and furniture (bentwood goods).

Depending on the manufacturing processes for wood composites made of tree species raw materials, methods of resin/glue application, press type and other parameters, our R&D team can choose the synthesis technology and resin parameters including  low toxic resins used for wood materials with Emission Class Е0 in compliance with user’s requirements.

Abrasives
The special grade of water-soluble urea-formaldehyde resin is used to impregnate the abrasive backing and   the glass fibre pad to make them strong and elastic.
Glass Fibre
The special grade of water-soluble urea-formaldehyde resin is used to make glass fibre for chopped glass strands. Glass fibre (non-woven fabric) is made from  glass fibres with a specific diameter and length bound together by organic additives.
Oil Production – Repair & Insulation, Major Workover
Resoil K grade urea-formaldehyde resins are used for repair and isolation of wells and mines. Resins are cured with acid hardeners. The composition is individually selected by our R&D team based on given requirements for downhole conditions and polymer stone strength.
