Solid insoluble high molecular weight compounds containing functional ionogenic groups capable of reacting to ions in solution.
Classified as weak-base (low-base) gel polycondensation anionites. Can absorb anions of strong acids dissolved in water by exchanging them for ions present in the ionic compound (ОН-).
Used for loading Stage 1 anion exchange filters for water desalinization plants, hydrometallurgy, waste water treatment.
