Thermal insulation
											Thermal Insulation

Phenolic resins are used as the main binder for thermal insulation materials made from such mineral fibers as glass, slag or basalt. Products from mineral wool are widely used in industrial and residential construction, for wall and soffit insulation as well for insulation of piping and equipment. Mineral wool is used in marine applications and high-rise construction works for its high fire resistance.
Phenolic resins are made using organic and inorganic catalysts.
Optima oil emulsion compatible with water is used in manufacturing mineral wool and glass wool insulation materials for dedusting and partly hydrophobization. Optima emulsion is compatible with all resins available on the market.
