Paraform (paraformaldehyde) is the polycondensation product of formaldehyde. Grade A paraformaldehyde is the harderner used to make synthetic resins, varnishes, glues,  pharmaceutical chemicals. Grade C is used as a disinfectant for breeding farms, transport vehicles and others.

Formaldehyde is the feed stock used to make synthetic resins, plastics, organic chemicals, rubber and resins, inhibitors for metallurgy and oil industry, disinfectants and  sanitizers for agriculture, textile, leather goods and paper industries.
